Hello! My name is Kevin Tran and I am currently conducting a mathematical research assignment on Psychology. I have loved Psychology for a long time and so, even though it doesn’t relate much to math, I want to continue incorporating the subject into my various assignments.

​My research assignment follows this question:
“What is the disparity between depression diagnoses and the age at which the individual was diagnosed?”
​So this question primarily pertains to those who have been professionally diagnosed with depression, but I don’t mind other responses either.

​I have a couple questions for you all and, if possible, I’d also like to know your stories. The story part isn’t necessary for the math but I’m genuinely curious.

Here are the primary questions:
1. What year were you born?
2. How old were you when you were diagnosed with depression?
3. What gender/pronouns do you go by?
4. Is depression common in your family?

If anyone could answer these questions, it would be really great. I know these are very intrusive, I don’t want them to be, but I have to do this. I hope you all understand and I’d love to hear all your stories.
