Hello, I struggled for a while with unwanted habits or building positive ones. I have read in "Atomic Habits" about the idea of rewarding yourself for fulfilling the habits, or punishing yourself for failing in them.

I know that the reward and punishment system is not really recommended; however, I have decided to give it a try, and I built myself an application that helps to follow such an approach.

It seems to work well for me. Not only with building habits, but also with reducing compulsive buying, as I wait to buy things until I collect credits for them with my habits.

I'm curious, though, what risks it could bring, and if it's really worth trying to share it broadly to help people, or it might be somehow hurtful. Here is how the application works in more detail: https://nowakapps.com/apps/Habit2Goal/index.html
