Augmentin DDS (Double Strength) Suspension is a pediatric antibiotic syrup prescribed to treat various bacterial infections. It combines amoxicillin (a penicillin antibiotic) and clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor) to prevent bacteria from resisting the medication. It does not treat viral infections like the common cold or flu.
